Shark Week is an annual event organized in June to educate the local community, students and tourists about sharks.
During Shark Week, several activities are organized for kids and adults to learn about sharks and show their beauty. People can adopt sharks, there is a fundraiser to help sustain the research and preservation of sharks and prizes are raffled for the cause.
The Nature Foundation also visits primary and secondary schools, to educate students about numerous shark species, the importance of sharks for our reefs and tourism, depletion of sharks and why they need our help.

We can always use volunteers during Shark Week for the various activities! If you are an open, friendly, well mannered and enthusiastic person passionate for the preservation of sharks and nature in general, then get in touch with us.
